Victoria Beckham allegedly cried due to David Beckham’s comments regarding their relationship. According to Mirror, Tom Bower’s book, The House of Beckham, suggests that Victoria felt profoundly hurt by David’s remarks during a 2018 interview on The Sunday Project.
The ex-soccer player painted their relationship as “challenging” in a discussion. Bower noted that Victoria, who viewed discussion via her phone, was surprised by her spouse’s statements and felt like “a massive explosion had erupted.”
It’s reported that Victoria took a two-day break at a Baden-Baden spa hotel. She needed time to gather her feelings after the interview was broadcast.
“Her husband’s faithlessness left her puzzled. His honesty disrupted her attempts to visualize a perfect family. She wept, puzzled over why David would let her down so?” Bower noted.
The soon to be released House of Beckham, coming June 20, offers insights into the duo’s uphill battle of keeping up appearances while dealing with private hurdles.
